1. What did you do in 2017 that you'd never done before?
I went to San Fransico.

2a. Did you keep your New Years's Resolutions for 2017?

  • Continue writing my book and possibly pursue publishing. NO

  • Go to Vegas NO, but I'm going in 2018! FO SHO. Zona Pachanga is performing.

  • Figure out what the heck to do with my life. Check. I wanna stay at the Gospel Rescue Mission for a while.

  • Live more authentically Check!

  • Dive deeper into God's love Check!

  • LOVE MYSELF more. "If you don't love yourself, you'll always be chasing after people who don't love you, either." DOUBLE CHECK!

2b. My resolutions for 2018 are:

I went into a lot of debt because I wasn't making enough money to pay the bills.

I was really healthy this year.

Rent, debt, and food

14. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting the job at Gospel Rescue Mission

15. What were some of the highlights of the year?
Meeting James, meeting Tiffany, karaoke with Tiffany, meeting Dawn, meeting Matthew, haunted corn maze, joining Zona Pachanga and performing Uptown Funk, lantern festival, Jackie's wedding, Bible study and all the awesome people I met there, hiking with Yolanda and Vanessa,  craft fair, going to the petting zoo, Christmas caroling with friends, all the memories with Lauren, especially horseback riding with James and Lauren and games nights, especially the dinner and wine murder mystery.

16. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Read the Bible.

17. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Fool around online.

18. How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it with Matthew's grandma and brother.

19. Did you fall in love in 2017?
I think so, yes. <3

20. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 32. I had a bunch of friends come to BJ's Brewery and then we went to a fair afterward and road carnival rides!

21. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2017?
"Colorful, eclectic, and classy as hell." -Lauren

22. What political issue stirred you the most?
Medicaid being reduced for low income families.

23. Who was the best new person you met?

24. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2017:
Don't expect so much from people and from yourself... perfection is found only in Jesus Christ.

25. What craft projects did you do in 2017?
Painted a file cabinet purple with sparkles, made a key holder, sewed a skirt using this tutorial.

26. Heartbreaking moment of 2017?
When Tiffany passed away and I was in Connecticut for Jackie's wedding and couldn't attend the funeral.
